GAMEPLAY DESIGNER I assisted in the initial brainstorming and finalizing of abilities for our beasts. As well, in our initial planning of the game, the intent was to have a deep narrative to the game and I was tasked with the writing the narrative for our story and the world building.
ARTIST We had two artist on the team, I was the secondary artist and contributed to concept art for beast and grunt designs, promotional and marketing art (posters, stickers, design of the booth for events) and 3D environment assets.
Another responsibility of mine was in charge of marketing. This included posting updates on the team's Twitter account
SCRUM MASTER To keep on schedule we tried out best to stick to an agile workflow. I led our daily stand up meetings (at 9am), which consisted of each team member stating what their tasks for the day. We tried to keep the meetings no longer than 10 minutes.

This capstone has probably been one of the most ambitious projects I have ever embarked on. Yet at the same time, it has been an experience like no other and we are glad to have been able to experience it. When forming our group, on paper, we sounded great, but our actual chemistry together wasn’t always the most ideal. One of the main things the team lacked was communication, and it definitely affected us as; sometimes we weren’t sure what others on our team were doing, we were all too individualistic. Though a lot of the time i felt more tired than not from the process, I'm happy that nothing ever went according to plan through our capstone, it taught us a lot about being faced with difficult scenarios and being able to overcome them. Capstone has provided me with a beautiful game that I am proud of and I got to experience what it would be like to work in a small studio team. I've learned a humongous amount in only 8 months, along with technical skills that will help me in the industry, I've learned a lot about myself.
